From family celebrations to a quiet weekend away, we have rooms to suit all occasions. The main hall has seven individually designed rooms, all reflecting the historic nature of the building. With antique furniture and gorgeous bathrooms, they offer a delightful place to stay and unwind.
Many of the rooms have four poster beds adding an air of romance and making an ideal wedding venue or honeymoon location.
We also have a further seven rooms in the Mews. Converted from the original stable block, these rooms are adjacent to the main hall. These rooms offer contemporary elegance. Each of the five rooms on the ground floor also have their own little terraces and are perfect for ease of access or for guests with dogs.
Children and dogs are welcome at Ravenwood Hall.

Main House Superior
The Saxon Room
If you would like to experience elegant comfort, The Saxon Room is for you. This is our famous honeymoon suite; perfect for your wedding night or for a special romantic retreat. It is simply a gorgeous room and so elegant, the four poster canopied bed sets the scene whilst the beautiful bathroom, with a luxurious standalone roll-top bath is perfect for a long and relaxing soak, there is also a separate shower.
Oak Room
A grand designed room which proves extremely popular. It is a bright corner room offering the best views from the Hall overlooking lawns to the front and side. Plus, this is a special room featuring original Tudor oak panelling, hence the décor being very much in keeping with the historic surroundings with heavy drapes around the bed and wonderful colours to suit.
This room is a great favourite with brides who are having a civil ceremony so while they get ready they can watch the wedding guests arrive without being seen!
St Edmunds Room
A beautifully spacious and romantic room with traditional décor. Light and airy, it has a balcony overlooking the lawns allowing you to enjoy the outside from within your own space. You will also enjoy the truly luxurious and elegant bathroom with separate shower.

Abbey Room
A traditional room with our famous ‘Princess and the Pea’ bed, a high bed that visitors just love. We even provide an antique stepping stool for those who have difficulty climbing into bed!
The Abbey Room also has wonderful views over the garden.
Magna Carta Room
A compact and highly comfortable room perfect for business visitors. With traditional décor and wonderful panelling around the bed.
Deans Room
Otherwise known as the Teddy Bear room, with its very own biscuit cupboard for men, children and dogs.
The Dean's Room is spacious and light and can accommodate twin or double accommodation and additional beds if needed. A truly traditional design with the added benefit of lovely views over the gardens.
Rookery Room
A hugely elegant room, The Rookery displays a truly traditionally English design with colours to match. This is a light room with a private balcony overlooking the lawns.

Mews 1
A lovely compact room with doors opening up to views over the garden. A lovely modern design featuring a purple and gold theme and a classical bathroom.
Mews 3
A large, spacious and light room perfect as a twin or double. This is a ground floor room perfect for those wanting easy access or for those with dogs as access is straight from the lawns. There is also a little terrace area outside with seating, making it the perfect relaxing retreat.
Mews 5
Finished in rich colours, Mews 5 is quite a compact room yet perfect for business travellers.
Finished in racing colours from Newmarket this is a popular room for race goers as the racecourse is only 20 minutes away.
Mews 7
If you are looking for a modern and chic room, look no further, Mews 7 is a delightful first floor room.
Mews 2
A light and airy room finished with a modern design, not forgetting the wonderful views over the garden. Sit just outside on the terrace and sip a cool glass of wine and relax.

This is a popular room for bride and grooms for their wedding night as they can enjoy breakfast in bed if they wish while sitting in bed and gazing at the stunning view.
