The Ravenwood Hall Children's Trust raises valuable funds to support children's charities in the local community and abroad.
We have raised money through various events, including:
- Everest marathon
- Gentlemen's Spirit of Adventure evening
- Masked charity ball
- London 10k race
- Christmas shopping packing at Waitrose in Bury St Edmunds
Supported projects include:
Odanadi project, India
The construction and support of a safe house for those children affected by human trafficking. They provide a safe refuge and rehabilitation programme to help children forge their own independence and success. www.odanadi.org
St Nicholas Hospice, Bury St Edmunds
Helps those who are facing the final chapters of their life, who need hospice care or who are bereaved.
Children's ward, West Suffolk Hospital
West Suffolk Hospital treats children with acute and long-term conditions. Funds raised went towards their new Children's Assessment Unit and Rainbow Ward.
EACH
East Anglia Children's Hospice is a local charity supporting friends and caring for children and young people with life threatening conditions.
Nepal appeal
Disaster relief fund for the families who tragically lost loved ones in the Everest avalanche.
Thurston Skate Park appeal
In memory of Ben Wragge who tragically lost his life after being shot with an airgun while playing with friends. The local community wants to build a safe place for children to play.
Suffolk Mind
A mental health charity that supports, educates and raises awareness in regards to mental wellbeing.
