Wine List
It must be around 30 years ago when I first worked as a stagier for an Alsace wine producer, since then my keen interest has become a great passion. So, as you can imagine, the production of our hotel wine list is an area of the business I love and absolutely refuse to let go of! That said, I have made some good friends on the journey and I am particularly grateful to Peter Rowe of Liberty Wines for his help with this list. After many years of travels in the vineyards together, visiting producers and studying the wines of the world we have developed a great working relationship. While he does not always agree with me, he has acted as a great foil to my self-indulgent tendencies to ensure balance prevails without the loss of care and attention to detail and a personal touch in the selection!
